Hello! I'm Akhil, a multidisciplinary designer, currently a junior in the Industrial and Product design program at the University of Washington, Seattle.

Creation is at the heart of who I am. To me, the substructures of design (UX design, industrial design, graphic design) are all different frames around one single goal: making things that make people happy. This is my greatest goal in life, and why I delve so deep into many seemingly disparate realms of work.

More specifically, I love solving hard problems. I believe the best and most effective design arises out of strict guidelines and considerations, whether they be the finance workflows for a major US city, engineering constraints for an innovative robot, or working with and sourcing recycled material.

Design should be realistic, innovative, functional, and above all, joyful.

Outside of design, you'll find me wandering Seattle, drinking hot chocolate, spending hours in antique stores, curating one of my 100+ Pinterest boards, browsing Facebook Marketplace, and talking incessantly.
